________________

Jack Ryan, Jr. is the one man who can stop a deadly war. But the price may be too high to pay.

When the leader of North Korea is catastrophically injured, his incapacitation inadvertently triggers a "dead-man's switch," activating an army of sleeper agents in South Korea and precipitating a struggle for succession.

Jack Ryan, Jr. is in Seoul to interview a potential addition to the Campus. But his benign trip takes a deadly turn when a wave of violence perpetrated by North Korean operatives grips South Korea's capital. A mysterious voice from North Korea offers Jack a way to stop the peninsula's rush to war, but her price may be more than he can afford to pay.

The only downside with this series of Jack juniors is that when you have read it or listen to it you can’t wait for the next version to be released. I hope it’s soon. Love it.

Another great story with exceptional narration

Jumps about a bit overall ok but would not listen again. Could do with having a few less story lines.

Fast paced

I found this a highly disappointing book.

I love the original Jack Ryan Snr novels by Tom Clancy but this book trades on the genre without any of the sophistication of the originals.

I’m not one for wham, bam, shoot ‘em up novels, so whilst I stuck with it I’ll not be reading any more of these, in my mind, second rate follow ups to the originals.

A wham bam shoot ‘em up novel, not at all like the original Jack Ryan stories

This story line you will find is totally unpredictable and changes so often. The narrator takes you on a journey that you can literally hear in his voice which makes the story tear along. Read it you will not be sorry.
