Summary

Trying to discipline your toddler and choosing the best path for both you and your toddler is no simple accomplishment. Probably the best parenting tips and procedures for baby discipline that have been attempted and tried will all be available to you in this audiobook.

Toddlers can be extraordinarily fun, and their curious nature will be without a doubt one of the strongest wills to absorb information both the kid and you will ever confront. Yet when your baby is prying into something that could prompt harm to him or herself or some other person or thing, you have to apply baby discipline.

Inside Toddler Discipline, you’ll find:

  • An overview of toddler development: including physical, cognitive, and social-emotional and how this affects a toddler's behavior.
  • Age-appropriate discipline that will help you manage common behavioral issues by building upon each stage of progress.
  • Toddlers and challenging behavior
  • Communicate with your problem toddler
  • Toddler discipline strategy
  • Myths about child discipline
  • Discipline mistakes parents make
  • How to discipline children with special needs

While toddler development is definitely not a direct procedure, this audiobook, Toddler Discipline, gives you a useful, compelling toddler-discipline toolbox for exploring the good and bad times of your child's toddlerhood and from that point onward.

Mundane and not what I was looking for!

I can’t say I’ve heard much of this book because I couldn’t bear any more of the voice! It was really boring and hard to listen to. I never got to the discipline but too busy hearing what terrible illnesses my child could get if I didn’t feed him health meals…

Excellent book for ANYONE who works with kids!

A great book that covers not only how to bring out the best in kids but also how to shift my own thinking towards the more traditional ways of disciplining. I loved how this book was honest without being a book of rules and to-dos and felt more like a deeper guiding hand on how to help my children achieve their best while being my best, too!

This book has been very helpful

This book has been very helpful. I like the ideas about parenting. It doesn't advocate letting kids have their way, but it also doesn't advocate parent authoritarianism either. I believe these ideas are a more natural progression to adulthood.

Perfect for parents who are looking for tools!!

The authors help parents understand the whys and hows of connecting emotionally with their children, in order to respond intentionally to a child's behavior. This parenting strategy is not as permissive as it may sound initially, the authors strongly encourage firm boundaries and clearly communicated consequences for misbehavior.

The book is a fast listen, with enough information

The authors go into enough depth about how your child's brain works to explain while managing to write in a conversational manner which appeals to tired, frustrated parents. The book is a fast listen, with enough information in early chapters to help parents begin changing how they interact with their children right away

Awkward narration, common sense information

I wish I would have been able to save my credit and use it toward a different book. the narration is robotic and has many breaks and pauses between words. it sounded as if the narrator had some sort of speech impediment, which was distracting from the storyline. The information that was shared was very common sense. having your child grow up with good nutrition, and a good neighborhood, and good hygiene habits will facilitate growth.

It's a pretty simple concept that this book

It's a pretty simple concept that this book helps to drive home: when you validate your kid's emotions, it makes a world of difference. I'm less stressed out about discipline issues at work and the kids are less stressed out as well

This book has really moved me

This book has really moved me. I feel that I have somehow managed to be a good parent to my child. Sometimes you doubt being strict and following schedules but in the end, it really is important for kids to have stability. It was a very good listen. I highly recommend it. Thank you.

Great Help When You're Out of Options

It's interesting when people think there's only one way to discipline, but this material covers a whole different approach that finally treats the child with respect. They really can't think like an adult and this book shows you how to interact with their developing brains while also treating the parent like a human.
