Summary

They're not so big in size, but their screams could burst eardrums and their habits can really drive you nuts. There is no need to dress these little monstrosities up in a devil's costume. That's right; we are here to discuss possibly the most talked about stage of child development that's right up there with the adolescent stage: the toddler stage. Cue the music for the terrible twos!

If you have stumbled upon this book, locked away in your room as you let your toddler rage around the house, it sounds like you have come to the right place! It is time to stop the never-winning war between you and your rapidly developing child.

The contents of this book include the following:

  • A peek inside the world of your toddler. Learn how toddlers perceive the big wide world around them.
  • Information about all the physical changes your toddler is enduring.
  • Discussion about the many neurological developments that are occurring in your toddler's not so tiny brain.
  • Learning how to think like a toddler so that you can interpret and understand the world like they do.
  • Tips, tricks, and hacks to getting through the awful, most talked about stage of the "terrible twos".

It is time to take the reins back to ruling your household as a parent! Toddlers are smaller versions of us. In fact, they probably see the world in more detail than we do. Over the years, we have learned to tune out valuable pieces of the world around us, while our toddlers are taking everything in and interpreting the truckloads of information. It is no wonder they might be a bit moody, with all the changes happening within them as they try to perceive their world!

Take action, not now, but right now, and get your copy today!

Must listen to it.....

In just a couple of weeks, the advice in this book has really turned around my interactions with my daughter and has enabled me to almost universally nip her tantrums in the bud. As a work-at-home parent, this translates to more happiness, greater productivity, and much, much less stress.

For my grandchildren

I ordered this book out of desperation. My grandchildren were acting out in ways that were unsafe (ages 3 and 5 at the time) running near traffic, throwing tantrums. Without reading the entire book, I learned enough to completely turn the situation around.

good to listen

I strongly believed that any new parent will appreciate this book. It has been generous in sharing tips, advice, wise words, and what-have-you that will help parents to raise their new babies. As the title said, Parenting The Toddler Years, this book has detailed discussions on how parents can help nurture and develop their toddlers' mind more. I'm not yet a parent but I did learn a great deal here. Good thing I got this book, I'll be more than prepared.

Informative and interesting guide

I had to get this book for a class, but this is a book that would probably be helpful to daycare providers and teachers as well. This book talks about quality programs and action plans you can do with small children and how basically everything they experience is a learning and teachable moment.

Must follow this book

This is an excellent and timeless resource for parents. It is a compilation of monthly newsletters that provide accurate, research based, easy-to-listen-and-understand information on infant and toddler development and parenting suggestions for your newborn and progressing monthly through age 24 months. I am a registered nurse and found the information to be useful and true. I purchased this as a gift for my son and daughter-in-law on the birth of their first child. They love it and find it very helpful and fun to listen.

good to listen

The book is okay but gives more helpful tips for older children rather than so much for toddlers. The advice seems to be redundant.

Loved it so much

The strategies and shift in thinking that took place during and after listening to this book have been life-changing. I loved it so much I ordered it on audible and listen to a chapter every week as a constant reminder & refresher. The author is on point and his ideas parallel current psychological research on attachment and developmental outcomes. For me though: "the proof is in the pudding" so to speak!

GREAT IDEA

I couldn't have dreamed up all these activities! I have two grand babies. One and 14 months do we are just getting into some of these activities but others I can see them doing now! They each have their own personalities and strengths so I think I could use every single one between the two! Thanks so much

Excellent guide about toddler development

Really great list of activities! We tried some of them out with our toddler and she really loved them. She especially liked unwrapping the toys from aluminum foil and trying to find the toy that makes sounds. The thoughts are a nice touch as well - helps get an idea of what to do.
