Damien Dupree is finally coming into his own. Hes accepted his incubus heritage and all that comes with that. Plus, hes shown the incoming freshmen class the power of their new TA. But now its time to get down to business. Damien didnt just come to the most prestigious paranormal university in the county to delve into higher realms of magic and earn his Ph.D. He came to teach the next generation. With fresh, new faces eager to learn, and some old, familiar ones in his Intro class, hes determined to do his job better than anyone else. A challenge one of his fellow TAs has gladly accepted.

The only problem is that someone isnt willing to let that happen. Time and time again, things have gone wrong and put Damien in a bad position with his friends, family, and the school itself. Not to mention threatening the things most dear to him. Its time to stop thinking like a college TA and start thinking like the son of a Titan. It isnt just his fathers legacy on the line ... it is his own at risk if he doesnt stop whoever is responsible.

I liked the book but the alternate POV of vernons kid really drags the book down. I feel like he’s here just to plow Damien’s sister and be predictably boring. Every twist involving him was just painfully obvious and where he’d end up and you can easily seen coming.

You can honestly remove him entirely and it doesn’t change a single thing that goes on in the book.

It really took away from the enjoyment of the book, it bothered me the last book but it’s even more in your face in this one.

I’m just confused as to why he’s included? His dad was a fairly irritating antagonist in the prequels but he serves zero purpose in this series. .

I will try the third book in the hope it’s remedied but I am more than a little disappointed in how this book was carried on.

I am baffled while Vernons son is being shoehorned into this story.
