About this listen

Time to Shine is a compilation of 30 something months worth of my weekly "Pinch of Thought" blog. When I began writing it, I saw my journey as very much one of an ex corporate leader stepping out under his own steam, determined to establish a more rewarding, stimulating, and meaningful "second half". I’ve come to realize however, that the new thinking, disciplines, and mindsets necessary to succeed are not confined just to the would be independent. They are exactly the same ones that business leaders and managers must master too if they are to succeed in overcoming the challenges of increasing complexity, volatility, and disruption. For that reason, whilst the focus here is often on the lone information expert ("solopreneur" or indeed "nut"!), my hope and belief is that there’s ton of value for those working inside organizations and smaller businesses.
