The story picks up where the previous book Jump through Fire ended. Hunter has reunited with his brothers, who do not like or trust humans. Mel learns more about her shaman gifts and gets the chance to earn money to help her family. There are new trials on the horizon as well. The narration is excellent as usual . I am really looking forward t the next book.
