About this listen

Dark clouds are gathering for cocky storm chaser Oakley Pierce as she throws herself into a bruising Oklahoma tempest that will change the course of four lives.

Tracking her path is down-to-earth TV meteorologist Lana Monroe, who'd dearly love a commitment from her free-spirited partner, Oakley, after eight long years of absence and career sacrifice.

Buckled in with Oakley for the storm-chasing ride of a lifetime is butch, brave EMT Riley Gatlin. She can't help but be drawn to the sweet newly divorced single mother Chloe Crawford, who seems as out of place in the group as she is sad.

As the weather closes in, the women are forced to face their worst fears and buried truths. Will two couples emerge from the damage and debris, or will they be torn apart?

A heart-pounding, action-packed lesbian romance that hurtles listeners into the eye of the storm.

A great storm chaser story with attraction, love and family buttheads thrown in. Thoroughly enjoyed this listen and will be listening to more by Rita Potter as it really was that good.

Perfect combination

better than Hollywood and it's cgi with little actual story.
love Ritas' writing, takes varied subjects and injects complete characters and storylines, with the bonus of saphfic romance.
particularly recognised myself in Chloe, not thinking she has anything to give, feeling less than, but keeping her humour.
narration is very good too.

Great story

An 'Excellent Listen' from Rita Potter, along with a quality narration by the ever reliable Lindsey Dorcus ! RP does this kind of disaster/fact filled science 'thingy' so well. I liked the MC's and those on the periphery, I also appreciated how RP developed 'Oakley' because at first she was annoyingly insensitive and clueless ! This is definitely worth a credit and your time, I will listen to this again at some point !

Excellent Listen !
