I listen to between 200 and 300 audiobooks per year, mostly crime/thriller/mysteries, I'm retired living on a small island boardering the tropical Sibuyan Sea. These four novels are the very best I have listened to in several years. The central character, Thomas Prescott, is a phenomenon in the crime genre, up there with John Rebus, Dave Robicheaux, Elvis Cole. The writing is superb with no filler, every word counts, crisp dialogue, wonderful laugh out loud humour, great plot lines that had me guessing, believable and well crafted characters and locations. The narrator does an absolutely first class job in adding the extra dimension of sound to the vibrant text. An absolute pleasure to experience.

If I Could Award Six Stars I Would.

What I liked about this group of 4 books was that they connected well in the lifeline of Thomas Prescott. Whilst you will have your own favourites, I found it useful to listen to another book in between each. Great narration

A tremendous package

The first second and fourth ( especially) were brilliant. Didn’t make it through the third but that’s ok. Looking forward to reading the next book in the series.
