Summary

Even shattered hearts can capture a dream.

Seeking refuge in a world not her own, a beautiful nurse follows her conscience to the reservation of the Lakota Sioux - hoping to heal the wounds of her ravaged heart. Condemned for a crime he did not commit, a handsome half-breed rodeo rider seeks freedom...and justice. Two lonely outcast sseparated by culture, stubborn pride and prison bars, their destinies are joined by a shared duty to a helpless child - and by the blossoming of a bold and magnificent love that a cruel, intolerant society forbids...but cannot destroy.

This Time Forever

Slowly evolving tale of two people, with very different backgrounds and ambitions, who find love through a series of difficulties and common bonds. Refreshingly believable characters and storyline, beautifully written, deeply emotive, with a thread of cynical humour at times and deeply erotic at others. The whole was only enhanced by Katrina Carmony's narration. Very informative as to the plight of Native Americans (for someone as ignorant as I) and surprisingly not dated considering the story was originally written in the 1990's. Would thoroughly recommend this to other Katherine Eagle enthusiasts.

Awful Narrator, Great Story

Couldn't listen to this ABSOLUTELY terrible narrator beyond 1/3 of book . I bought the hard copy to finish. Fortunately, I've loved this author for years and knew it would be great. I wasn't disappointed.
Dated, but relevant. A must read, but skip the audio book. TERRIBLE!

The worst narrator

Would you try another book from Kathleen Eagle and/or Katrina Carmony?

Kathleen Eagle - yes
Katrina Carminy - no way

What did you like best about this story?

The story

How did the narrator detract from the book?

Ridiculous number of mispronounced words - by the middle of the book I found the narration laughable. Being born in ND and living many years there I just couldn't get past the way she pronounced Mandan - wouldn't that be a key name to know how to pronounced? That wasn't the only blatant mispronunciation. As previously mentioned, the instances were so frequent it became laughable.

Did This Time Forever inspire you to do anything?

To make sure I never listen to another audiobook narrated by Katrina Carmony.
