Story
Heather Harrison sees ghosts. It's not something she brags about. In fact, she wished she didn't. Communicating (or not communicating) with the dead only leads to heartache, and for her it led to a divorce. For the most part, she's happy being single. She's got a good business, close friends, and a slightly overprotective brother. What more does a 40-something woman need? When her two best friends beg her for help in contacting loved ones, against her better judgment she can't say no to the séance.

When it rains, it pours...and sometimes love finds you even when you can’t find yourself. Fate has given me a second chance at the happiness I once knew in the odd Southern town of Grimm Cove. But only if I can come to terms with some rather eye-opening revelations. Supernaturals are a real thing. I'm a witch. My high school sweetheart, who happens to be the Chief of Police in Grimm Cove, is my fated mate and a wolf-shifter. Ghosts exist and can be very nosy and meddlesome. As a college student, I spend my days in class and my evenings selling sage to PTA moms who do moon rituals to manifest better parking spaces. My best friend is a cat who likes pizza, and a “night out” includes hand delivering mysterious packages to the local “coven” of small business owners who repeatedly invite me to their meetings - clothing optional. My life is weird. But it’s not magic. Magic isn’t real. At least, that’s what I believed - right up until the moment he walks into my store.

The day after my 43rd birthday, my husband announced he was trading me in - his words, not mine. The news was unwelcome at the time, but honestly? I needed a good goosing to get up and find my way to the door. So I was freed from the giant manual of expectations authored by my ex. That was the good news. The flip side was less happy. Due to living in a state not friendly to discarded wives, I was also relieved of the financial "security" I'd spent a lifetime accruing.

Summary
Friends don’t let friends séance drunk.
A new paranormal women's fiction romance series from NYT and USAT best-selling author, Michelle M. Pillow!
Vivien Stone lost the love of her life over 20 years ago. Now that she’s in her 40s with a string of meaningless relationships under her belt, she can't help but pine for what might have been. It doesn't help that she's somewhat psychic and can pretty much predict where a relationship is heading before it even starts.
When she and her best friends find a hidden book of séances, Vivien believes it's the perfect opportunity to talk to her lost love. But things don't go as planned and what was meant to be a romantic reunion takes a turn for the bizarre.
Maybe some things (and people) are better left buried in the past, and what she really needs has been standing in front of her all along.

Amazing Series!
This is the second book in the Order of Magic Series, a Paranormal Romance Women's Fiction Novel. This Series is amazing! Vivien's story is captivating, and emotional. Lorna and Heather are fantastic supporting characters. The three friends are gifted with psychic abilities. The mystery unfolds at a great pace, and the conclusion is beautiful. Rebecca Cook did a wonderful job with the narration. Looking forward to listen to The Fourth Power, Heather's story, the third book in the Series. If you like Paranormal Romance, and Women's Fiction, this series is definitely for you! I enjoyed it, and I HIGHLY recommend it.

This is Vivian's book. From the first book I had thought Vivian was an uppity snob, maybe I was a bit harsh. I loved the first book, so I hope this book is just as good. I love the three friends, the banter they have is so fun. I wish I had friends like these ladies. This series is another good one by Michelle M. Pillow, one of many. Perfect sequel!
With it's well develop Characters and their story Michelle has yet again brought to her fans another awesome series. I love how the three main characters of this story complete and build off each other yet shine with their own power. Even though the women in this story are a bit older then the usual women in most paranormal romance it goes to that age is just a number and the longer you lived the more you know.
Emotions stretch the characters and readers alike. The three women are strong friends and women with loyalty unmatched.
She is psychic. She was also widowed in her early 20's and never got over the loss of her true love. Sam Stone was the live of her life. She thought she could never love again. During a seance, they try to call Sam back. He does come back, but he has something to tell Viv.
Her new neighbor Troy is flirting with her but she cannot seem to talk right in front of him she is trying to put him in the friend category but that never happens.
Right now Lorna is staying at her house since she got out the hospital and Viv is so happy to have her there. The three friends decide to help Viv with a seance' only she didn't bother to tell Lorna and Heather that she wanted Sam her 1st husband back.
This story was sweet, a bit funny and a bit emotional. The characters are well developed and very likable.

Love Vivian's Story
Third Time's a Charm is Vivian's story. As from the first book, Order of Magic, Vivian lost the love of her life 20 years ago. She and Sam were young and in love. In her family, each member's love story is epic. She would do anything to have Sam in her life again.
The problem is that Sam gave her an cryptic message just before he passed away. The question is does Sam wants her dead to join him in the great beyond especially when she, Lorna, and Heather made a mock of things during their seance while drunk. Now they need Heather's ghost grandmother, Julia to makes things right.
I love the title for Vivian's story. She married Sam, who is the love of her life and then married Rex, who turned out to be a jerk. And now with Troy, how is she going to explain about her special abilities and accept her for who and what she is.
I am hook on to this series. Forty-something is now the new 20-something. I am looking to Heather's story.
The narrator, Rebecca Cook is perfect for Vivian's story. Vivian is eccentric and she does speak her mind. Lorna seemed to have a lot more livelihood, now that she realized that she doesn't need an explanation from her dead husband, Glen. The narrator did a excellent job with William and Troy's voice.
I was given this audiobook by the author. I have decided to voluntary write an unbiased review for this book. I was not compensated or influenced in anyway for writing this review.

I love the situations these three friends find themselves in. Through thick and thin as most friendships go through, this group of friends are supportive and protective of each other. Third times a charm is charming.
I loved getting to see Vivian's story!
The stuff with Sam was a bit creepy, but I'm glad I pushed through to the end.
Her ex makes me want to kick him, lol. He is a piece of work.
I'm glad we got to hear more about Vivian's past, her current life and get to meet the one person she can't read!
William and Lorna were adorable, I'm so glad we got to see more of them in book 2.
Walking through healing Vivian's heart, has me looking forward to Heather's book with excitement and a little trepidation. This story made you feel, think back on your past relationships, celebrate you have grown and changed, and looked into the future with hope. I feel like Heather's story will take us on an even deeper ride.
If you are a fan of PWF, like I am! You should grab this book today.
I really enjoy Rebecca’s narration of the story and how she helps each of the womens unique character shine through.

I laughed too, I also was in a state of panic and in suspense over the course of the story. Ms. Pillows sure knows how to keep my attention.... as usual. Loved the story and how the author took a very real feel situation and gave it a magical supernatural element. Vivien finds the closure she needs to start living her life and the bond with her friends deepens even further. She finds her HEA with the hunky neighbour, Troy, who at first I was sure was Sam coming back to her. Troy is who she really needs and gets. YAY
Listening to Ms. Cook giving the characters lives is always an experience and she is definitely on my 'eargasm' list. Her voices are spot on defining the characters and their temperaments, moods. Her passion for the craft is really heard how she tells the story.

Excellent continuation of the series
I really enjoyed all aspects of this audiobook. I expected the story to follow a similar structure as the first book, but the story line was as unique as the heroine. Overall themes were continued, and the three friends grew in their power and knowledge of their new gifts, but this was a fresh plot. I loved seeing the main characters from a different viewpoint. I think this could be read as a stand-alone book, but there is more depth when taken as part of the ongoing story. I am looking forward to the next book.

Loved it!
I really enjoyed Vivien and Troy's story. I liked that the book focused on Vivien's strengths and the support she gets from her friends. Can't wait to read Heather's story!

So Very Good!!
This book is so good! It is Vivien's story and it was so full of so many different emotions. It had a tragic love story, a charismatic ghost and a new budding romance. I both read and listened to this which made it even better!! This is one you don't want to miss!!
