Summary

Falling for your best friend's sister has never felt so bad yet so damn right.

From USA Today best-selling author BJ Harvey comes the third and final stand-alone in the Chance series. This time it's the much anticipated story of Drew and Ashley.

I have a long history of acting first and thinking it through later. In fact, I'm the definition of a screw up. Case in point - I’m having a baby with a woman I can’t stand, my ex is now my best friend’s wife, and I’m in love with a woman I can never have.

My biggest secret is falling for my best friend’s sister 12 years ago. My biggest mistake is thinking I could live without her. And now my biggest regret is the look on her face the moment I tell everyone I’m already married to the woman they hate most.

Guide for ignoring better judgement

I bought this book because I love Zachary Webber. Of course, he didn't disappoint. I just couldn't handle the story l. Ashley is like poison, tempting Drew when he's saying no over & over & over again. She doesn't give a second thought to potentially ruining her brother's friendship and causing crazy drama. A guy who pulls that crap is called a douchbag. Drew is weak and gives in. Who can blame him when Ashley is absolutely relentless? I made it about 2 hours into the book and had to stop. I was getting anxiety about what crappy decision would be made next and how Ashley would manipulate Drew. I realize that Drew's mess-ups are the meat of the story, but I really felt bad for him because Ashley was like a devil on his shoulder. I'm just depressed that I didn't finish a Zachary Webber narration. On to the next one, I suppose.

More 14 years strike!!

This book exhausts me. So many emotional back and forth. Drew not being confident or man enough to stand up for the woman he "loves". Ashley just letting him hide their relationship like some dirty little secret. So what if she's your bestfriend sister, you are both adults and can date whomever you want!! The narration was superb, Zachary narrates 99% of the book and killed it. Virginia 5 minutes was good as well.

5 real, raw, emotional stars!

"Forever and Always"....Gahhh! I have loved each of the books in this series, but Drew and Ash stole my heart. I am a sucker for a forbidden read and this one had me hooked from page one. Drew is Millen's best friend. Ash is Millen's little sister. Drew knows he shouldn't want her, but he does. The irony is she wants him too. I felt every emotion the MC's experienced...the longing, the doubt, the joy, the pain, the hope and the love. I was flat out ugly crying by the end and loved every minute of it. BJ Harvey, took me on the best kind of ride. The story of Drew and Ash is a twisty, turning, angsty one and I enjoyed every real, raw moment. I would be remise without saying that Zachary Webber delivered a powerhouse performance. He was the PERFECT Drew and I felt every emotion he was conveying. Simply fantastic!!

Forever and Always

I absolutely love this one. In my opinion it’s the best one in these series.
I love Ashley’s no B.S way, how she goes for what she wants and the fact that she’s strong..
Drew is so devastatingly adorable and so frustrating all at the same time.. he puts Ash through hell but! It’s all worth it in the end I absolutely love this story.

I would recommend this book. Also who doesn’t love Zachary Webber. His voice is perfection.

Strikingly awesome

This was a meaty, beautifully written, well thought out fabulously narrated tale of love and redemption.
The story of Drew and Ash was filled with peaches and cream moments as well as sweeping sadness. All in all a thrilling ride, with the most spectacular and heart warming outcome.
As for ZW's narration! Good lord this man..this man is beyond fabulous. He breathed life into the telling and injected a soul into the fictive.
Bravo!!

Ummm, I wasn't ready 😬

I am thankful that a friend gave me spoilers because this book was interesting, angry, and audacious! Zachary Webber amazes me with his ability to give voices to so many different characters and bring them to life.

I almost gave up on it I didn’t like how toxic Ash was her brother Millen was a dick yet Drew is the one who has to make atonements I thought it was ridiculous I really fell hard for Drew I felt his pain it was a lot drama with happy but I am glad they all found their HEA.

so much drama, Love it

This is my favorite book of the series. Drew is the best. He knows who he wants but doesn't want to ruin his friendship to get it (even though they are perfect for each other) . Just when you think the author threw out all the curveballs, there is a surprise you didn't see coming.
Perfect choice for narrator.

Drew is a freaking p*ssy

Sometimes I wonder if authors remember they already wrote about characters in previous books.

One reviewer said Ashley was poison, I don't see her that way at all. Like typical girls she wants him and she makes herself pathetic for him. It seemed to me he was the one constantly pulling her strings. She tried to move on and he shows up in the middle of the night. He was actively sleeping with women when they weren't together and yet he loved her. 🙄 she tells him she loves him and he says his stupid little line because hes not a man. His inner monologue saying he'll claim her when hes worthy, at what point does that happen? Life doesn't work that way. Nothing is all perfect so you can get married, have a family etc. You have to make your own destiny. Not wait for it to fall in your lap. Then in the first book he falls for Kenzie. Wanted a relationship with her. Told her he would be there when it didn't work out with Millen. What would have happened if Kenzie had returned his feelings? I guess Ashley would have been left on the sidelines. I guess that, 'I'll never love anyone the way I love Ashley' nonsense was just that, nonsense. Where was his undying love for Ashley then? THEN he sleeps with what's her name and gets her pregnant. Ashley got to witness that happy moment in the first book. Yeah Drew, grow a pair.

But seriously I liked Drew in the first book. I liked how he was when we first met him going after Kenzie. The drunk making bad decisions at the end Drew, not so much. But here hes just a major p*ssy. He cant get his crap together and he makes Ashley his dirty little secret. She needs a man not a manchild. A woman needs someone who will stand up for them. Slay all the dragons with her and walk around with her in the light. Not constantly lie and hide her. I'm soooo disappointed in this Drew.

Yeah this Drew can suck b*lls.
