So beautiful!
A declaration of love through the entire book. Abby Cradens narration brings the story to life in the best possible way. Absolutely brilliant. Once again a masterpiece by Milena McKay.

Amazing once again
Another one of MM’s books and what a masterpiece, I could not stop listening, the author always has such grip on her readers. The suspense and the story and all the love with some angst on the side and some spicy times, that’s a perfect book for me.

Perfect, just perfect!
I read this when it first came out & adored it.
This audiobook has ramped up that adoration to dizzying levels. We all know McKay can write complex, perfectly imperfect characters, in the most wonderfully devised stories that hook you from the get go, coming alive on the page - so hearing them performed by a talent like Abby Craden blows the doors off! The plot is perfect, the characters are well rounded & interesting, the chemistry between Chiara & Vi is off the charts & nobody, I repeat nobody writes like McKay to weave every single thread together to create such a beautiful end product. If I could give this all the stars I would.

I was literally gripped
I found this whole book, gripping from the moment it started, I absolutely loved it, in fact, I even changed my workday as I had listened to it until 6 am on a work night!
Melina McKay and Abi Craydon seamlessly make you fall. In love, the writing, and the narration was phenomenal.

Perfect combination of a winning story and beautiful narration. So what if some of the accents don’t exactly match, Abby’s interpretation of Chiara is spot on.

Brilliant writing!
Excellent writing, storyline and narration. 5 stars in every aspect.
Abby brings the story to life as always.
A minor suggestion with the narration/recording is to perhaps lower the recording sound when reading the lines of characters that are quite lively. I need to turn the volume down everytime they speak (and back up for other voices), which is a shame. This is something I have noticed in several narrations from Abby. Not a criticism but it would be a much appreciated improvement :)

This is a great story that has melted my heart, is is exceptional quality. The manipulation of the characters struggles and passion with such rich writing and narration from Abby brought this to life and made it exceptional.
I definitely recommend this.

intense
powerfully so, very emotional story of an older woman in a loveless marriage, and the younger woman who brings life back, but they are not the cheats, an unfortunate situation which leads to distrust and a 5yr delay to meeting again.
