About this listen

The audiobook version of the 2014 Saturn Award-winning These Are the Voyages - The Original Series, Season One, at 28 hours, is perhaps the most ambitious audiobook undertaken. Narrated by Vic Mignogna (executive producer and Captain Kirk in the web series Star Trek Continues), this "audio play" documents the creation of the Star Trek TV series and production of its two pilot films and the 28 episodes from its formative first season (1966-67). This unparalleled production boasts a cast of nearly 100, including the voices of many of those who helped make the first Star Trek series.

As a passing fan I never knew most of the stories so great to delve in deeper. Great narration. Leads you through the making of the series episode by episode as if you are there eavesdropping and you can feel the drama and tensions of what it’s like to make the tv show. Hope they make book 2.

Impressive to make so much detail an enjoyable listen.

Excellent audiobook, I thought I knew almost everything about TOS but I was wrong, I dropped one star because some of the voice actors were annoying. Doesn't seem like there was Season 2 and 3 audiobooks unfortunately.

Excellent

An incredibly detailed insight in to the production of TOS Season 1. Great performances, especially the narration by VM. A must have for all Star Trek fans. Looking forward to Season 2.

One of the best behind the scenes books, ever.
