In 1981, just nine years old, Jennifer Cardy was abducted and murdered, her bicycle found standing where she had left it.

There followed dark days for the Cardy family, days of searching for their missing daughter, grieving her death, wrestling with the questions. It would be thirty years before they would find any answers; thirty years before her killer, Robert Black, would face any kind of justice.

I was riveted by this authors absolute trust in God which has clearly got her through these years of real grief and pain. People struggle to forgive much lesser crimes yet she finds the strength not from within but from God. Thank you.

A traumatic story for so many. The family showed incredible strength, dignity and kindness in a time when so many other traits could have been shown. Having personally met some of this family, what is depicted is entirely accurate.
