Accurate!!!

It’s surprising how this activity can be calming! I think Charice Kiernan has described each poses accurately. The breathing techniques can be challenging, but since it’s one of the vital elements in yoga, I plan to practice on it day by day.

Just what I need!

This book made a perfect timing. Felt so burned out after several travels I made concerning work and I thought of yoga to wind down. It’s totally-free and easy to follow. Plus, this book has been helping me since my first day. I didn’t even feel awkward as I was able to follow the poses right in a jiffy. What more can I ask for?

Creative poses

I saw a great article about a woman’s remarkable healing through yoga and I just couldn’t stop myself from checking her out and yoga. Think this one is one tough yoga guide as it has explained any beginner learner wants to know. The poses sounds creative and healthy and there are 30 of them to try out.

What a precise yoga audiobook!!

I do have difficulties following instructions verbally, but because this audio book was precise and clear in instructions, I didn’t have much trouble executing them properly. It’s surprising that I used to ignore yoga, but now, I’m finding myself making time for it ALWAYS.

Fun with yoga.

Oh my! I can listen to this all day and do the poses while I’m at it. Now I’m beginning to find audiobooks very convenient. And I’m finding myself being attached to yoga now.

Helped my wife.

I bought this for my wife, to help her with her yoga routine. She told me that it really helped her workout. I think this is a great book if you’re just starting out with yoga, and want to create your own practice.

I'll be getting back to this book time and again.

The audiobook starts by defining what Yoga is. It goes into goes into how it’s history, how it began, and how yoga found its way to the West. But it immediately gets practical after that: the health benefits of yoga, and then instructions on how to perform 30 different yoga poses. What I like is the attention for detail: every yoga pose comes with some do’s and donts. This is definitely a book I will be getting back to time and again!

Fantastic explanation of principles of yoga...

I think this may be my 3rd or 4th book on yoga, and this is among my favorites so far. Charice’s writing is clear and direct. I’m not really into hippie yoga, yet I am intrigued to learn more. This was beautifully practical.

Meditating for 5 minutes per day now...



For each pose, this book contains information on how to perform it (of course), but also its health benefits, contraindications and possible variations. This is great for if you want to focus on a specific part of your body or health. I especially liked the chapter on meditation, it really helped me to kickstart my meditation practice. I’m only doing like 5 minutes per day, but I’m getting the hang of it.

Yoga has a lot of depth…

After having done a lot of random Youtube classes, I wanted to take my yoga practice to the next level. This audiobook was very helpful in starting my own yoga practice. Yes, I had practiced some of the poses before. But I had no clue about what yoga is really about. How breath awareness is so important, and that you should always end with a relaxation pose. And how yoga has so much more depth to it, if you start understanding where it originally came from.

Finished it in one sitting.

I prefer this compared to the other audiobook I’ve listened. I finished this in one sitting and tried the poses. Felt great after doing so! Will be looking forward to this every now and then.

my latest craze

Lately I found myself developing the passion for audiobooks as I do find it a hard time finding time to sit and read books. This yoga audiobook is my latest craze. Listened to it while preparing breakfast and I was empowered. I was amazed with to the extent that I downloaded more yoga poses I can try after I do the poses in this book.
