This audiobook felt way more emotional thna I expected going in. The atmosphere was super vivid and there's this lonely, wandering feeling through the whole story that kinda pulls you in without needing huge dramatic scenes every five minutes. Carlos felt really human to me, especially the way gried and regret just quietly follows him everywhere. I also loved the wolf elements and the survival parts, they gave the story this almost dreamlike vibe without feeling over the top fantasy-ish. The pacing was a little slow in the middle for my taste, but honestly by the end I appreciated that the story took it's time. I was still thinking about parts of it the next day which doesn't happen often anymore with audiobooks.
