Really enjoyed listening to these conversations, couldn't help thinking that they were a bit repetitive at times, but I suppose that is the nature of studying universal motifs and patterns. Provided some good food for thought and stimulated a desire to go and do some more reading and research into highlighted topics (such as the hero's journey) for myself.

If you could sum up The Wisdom of Joseph Campbell in three words, what would they be?

It is such a refreshing pleasure to listen to people who actually think, feel and see deeply into mechanisms of our beliefs and souls. It is a very inspiring conversation, which almost makes me feel ashamed of the superficiality of most of our thoughts... It's great to listen to people who try to analyse the way we think and act, without judging others, just with respect and love and incredible knowledge of world mythology and religions.

I adore how JC reconciles Western sensibilities (relationships/ individuality) with mystical teachings. Likewise, Michael Toms is a curious and intelligent interviewer.
