A Gripping Psychological Thriller with a Heart-Pounding Twist

She married my ex-husband. They're living in my house. One of us won't make it out alive...

I share a house with my ex-husband, Ben. A floor each, a schedule for taking turns to use the kitchen. It may sound odd but it’s all perfectly amicable. Then his new wife moves in…

Yasmin breezes in on a cloud of expensive perfume, and it’s clear Ben is besotted. But her perfect veneer soon starts to crack. I know she's been in my room. And I realise I have more to fear than I’d ever imagined…

Then Ben disappears, and I’m alone in the house with her. I hear a noise in our basement. I run down the steps and the door slams behind me. But is it Yasmin turning the key in the lock, or is the truth even more dangerous?

And will I survive…?

Fans of None of This Is True, John Marrs, T.M. Logan and Freida McFadden will be utterly gripped by this addictive psychological thriller.

I can never work out what's going to happen next in a Nora Valters book. And this book was no exception! Twists and turns aplenty with great writing and a wonderful narrator. I was constantly second guessing myself right to the end. Can't wait for the next book to come out.

Best Nora Valters book yet!

I really enjoyed this, even though the main character took ages to work out what I’d worked out very quickly. Kept me engaged and was as good as the author’s previous books.

Far fetched but brilliant
