Summary

In the wake of her husband's inexplicable suicide - and the equally mysterious deaths of scores of other exemplary individuals - Jane picks up the trail of a secret cabal of powerful players who think themselves above the law and beyond punishment. But the people bent on hijacking America's future for their own monstrous ends never banked on a highly trained FBI agent willing to become the nation's most wanted fugitive in order to derail their insidious plans.

Excellent

was a bit disappointed with The Silent Corner but the Whispering Room made up for it 10 fold. Edge of the seat stuff, Koontz at his best .

More of the same

More of Jane running around abducting people, being sad and drinking vodka.

Not sure I can be bothered with any more in this series.

Koontz, in form

As always I enjoyed this book as much as many others of his..
He seems to get Better and better, his prose splendid, his descriptions unsurpassed!
Second book as good as first, I’m off to listen to the third and final? I don’t know but many more Jane Hawks would be fine as far as I’m concerned..

Tripe

so incredibly dull and longwinded. Over flowery dialogue with haphazard story line. The worst audio book ive listened to. As for the ending.... I swore. All those hours for that! This books only saving grace was that I have difficulty falling asleep and it helped with that. A good read... no. Cure for insomnia? Give it a try.
