I felt like major plot points were held back far too long - once they were revealed, it made me like the main character a lot more & therefore care about her fate, before that I found her frustrating and silly. I almost wanted to listen to it again once I knew certain details as I’m sure I would have found the characters more engaging second time round.

Absolutely loved this book and the narrator. I was gripped from the off and couldn’t put it down. The storyline was great with a brilliant twist. Wish I could read it again from the start!

i enjoyed this book. A litte predictable from the halfway point but there were enough twists in the plot to keep me engaged.

this book grabs the reader from page one with mystery, thrills, romance, fear, hope and a different culture... then there are the twists, and yet more twists, the final shocks of the denouement and yet more twists! a real page turner once again from this author.
