I was introduced to Gary Disher through the wonderful Paul Hirschausen books, this is of the same high standard, with excellent characters and plot. In addition, Henry Nixon’s narration is pitch perfect. Highly recommended for any fans of Aussie noir.

A lot happens in this, but it is expertly and seamlessly woven together.
The narrator's delivery was a bit jerky at times, but overall it was a terrific listen.
