I loved the 3 books in this series and by the end I felt that I knew them all personally. I really enjoyed the saga.

The story touched me in every way.. All three books were outstanding to listen too. It was a beautiful, sad and powerful Story. Annie Alderton's voice brought each character to life.. Annie voice is just magical.
I recommend everyone to read or listen to the books. It will make you appreciate today's life.

I liked the whole story. New author to me. Interesting characters and recognisable places, having watched films of WW1. Such as Passiondale and 1917.
