At first, very strange, then strangely wonderful, one senses all the actors, really enjoying themselves, and showing off their extraordinary talents, just fantatsic.
Move on to the unabridged reading, and you’re hooked on Virginia!

Strangely wonderful!

Compelling, beautiful recording of Woolf’s (in my view) greatest novel. Bernard’s final soliloquy unbearably moving.

Outstanding production of a classic

An enjoyable and quite outstanding adaptation of the Waves. A complex piece typically Virginia Woolf which makes this a real treat to have in my collection. Very well thought out and beautifully acted by a strong cast. I enjoyed the book and now can enjoy listening to this extraordinary piece of Woolf literature as though it were a film acted out before my very eyes. I wish many more of Virginia Woolf’s material was dramatised, as she has a beautiful way with words which in the right hands can be brought alive in so many ways.

BEAUTIFUL ADAPTATION of THE WAVES
