Summary

The year is now 1413. John, the youngest son of Robin of Waringham, dreams of becoming a knight in the service of England’s new King, Henry V. When he begins to fear that fate has other plans for him, John follows in his father’s footsteps and runs away from home to pursue his dream.

But the streets of London and the court of King Harry prove to be dangerous places for even the bravest young squire. Before long, John finds himself in conflict with his own brother Raymond and caught up in the plots and intrigues of the King’s secret enemies. But perils at home pale beside the challenges which await in France, where John and his brother must face their destiny at the Battle of Agincourt....
