From start to finish I was held in thrall, trying to anticipate each twist and turn that the warp and weft of the fabric of life, woven by the Norns of Fate, Urd, Skuld and Verdandi, held in store for the warrior who becomes Einar the Brawler.
A superb story with wonderfully created characters, caught in a brutal struggle for honour, fame and the lure of the Whale Road.

Peter Gibbons is a master wordsmith who manages to craft a tale of brutality around a character who strives for honour, justice and humanity. Superbly narrated by Michael Langan, who brings individuality and life to each character.
