Summary

Over Our Heads, Book 3:

Sean's still up to his neck in trouble, but at least he's finally found an example of his father's work, along with all of his notes. Now all Sean has to do is figure out not only how to reproduce his father's greatest achievement, but to solve the one problem his father wasn't able to. Holed up in a Cold War era bomb shelter, all Sean wants to do now is keep his head down and his family safe while he untangles this latest problem. Like it or not however, Sean has set events in motion that will change the future for all of the mages and supernatural beings involved, should he prove successful. While many may welcome these changes and the freedom it will bring them, some of the more powerful councils will most definitely not.

Head Down, Book 4:

Things are starting to look up for Sean: he has a safe place to stay, allies, way too many wolves, and a couple of dangerously cute werefoxes around as well. However the other Councils now know that he's serious, after the raid on Gradatim that left several important people dead. Battle lines are starting to be drawn and the Council of the Ascendants realizes that they're next in line and start to take precautions while the other councils start to play politics and jockey for position. Even the Council of Vestibulum, the most powerful in both Reno and the rest of the country, is starting to be concerned. And how could any conflict between these major powers be complete without bringing back the assassin hired 12 years ago to deal with the son of the man he killed?

Warning: The Valens Legacy: Publisher's Pack 2 contains explicit sexuality, nudity, violence, bad language, attempted murder, actual murder, self-defense, pro-active self-defense, military-style raids, mass combat, destruction of private property, vandalism, breaking and entering, tantric magic, polyamory, mayhem, gratuitous sex and violence, an opportunistic goblin, a little girl who knows all about guilt trips, and Sean being completely and totally clueless about why his friend is embarrassed.

Every bit as great as the books!

Loved the book and loved the audio. I like the Valens legacy series, been reading them as they come out. So I thought trying an audio-book might be a nice, you know, to hear a story told by, a story you're familiar with... It disappoint in the least. The storytelling is gripping, and the emotions are coming through in a way I wouldn't be able to get from reading. Very well done, excellent speech and audio. I would recommend this to anyone fancying a Lykan/ fantasy/ magic adventure story...with a healthy dose of adult fun play...that too ;-)

THE BREAKS ARE GONE!

This is a comedic, supernatural, rocketsled of a series that keeps getting better and better each book. The gratuitous amounts of sex seems to get repetitive at times, but the plot and pacing of everything else balances it out. I'm got so hooked that I went and bought the books that haven't been converted to audiobook format just so I can find out what happens next. The narrator does an excellent job portraying every character. I can say that if you're fans of the demon accords series that this another you may enjoy.

Great book but not for the feint of Heart

I loved the book easy to get lost in.
Great story line and characters. A very engaging story will be continuing the story and would recommend to most, but I must mention there is quite a lot of erotic material throughout. To sum it up just overall great book.

Better than the last book. Still porny though.

Though the harem fantasy and gratuitous sex scenes still feel like a creepy window into an immature mind, they are less ubiquitous. This makes the book much more listenable. The plot is great and the characters are relatable. If the author could get past his icky desire to welcome us into his masturbatory fantasies this would be a standout series in the genre.

Book was okay, then turned into a whiney cuck-fest

Spoiler alert! I was enjoying the series, then it kinda just started to stall. The MC lost his focus, became kind of aimless and wimpy. Got his pack, his "100 Werewolves" then refused to lead it. Then let his own lion sleep with his girls so he could watch. Cuck. Will not read any more of this nonsense. This is exactly how you ruin a series.
