An exposé of the alien abduction phenomenon.

The Uninvited examines the reaction of governments and of the scientific community to claims from the public that they have been involved with alien interaction, looking at the world's most famous alien contact cases and highlighting the common threads that bind them together.

Nick Pope devotes a significant portion of the book to detailing a number of cases that he investigated personally, before discussing the various theories that might explain what lies behind this fascinating mystery.

Former UK Government UFO investigator Nick Pope has written the definitive book on the alien abduction mystery, delving into folklore, the contactee movement, and more modern claims that people have not just seen UFOs, but encountered extra-terrestrials.

.. I like Nick Pope , his approach to this phenomena is genuine, and his speculative comparisons, make the book worth a listen … although the basis of this book is telling the same story and account over and over, but from different perspectives, the point it’s making is something is obviously going on , and Regressive hypnosis seems to be the only method of detailing anything engaging enough to fill a storybook … it’s an entertaining few hours, as are all of these books usually are , and like that all of them leave you asking a lot more questions than there are logical answers .. it makes a change from movie night, and many of the tales told would make admirable scripts for such potential blockbuster ..

A great insight into the work that Nick has done throughout his time at the M. O. D. and afterwards as a ufologist. Narrators voice is engaging and paced perfectly that reflects the information. Well worth a listen if you have any interest in the subject.

Narrator sounds bored to tears. Very difficult to listen to for extended periods because of that. A golden rule for story tellers is if you can do character voices then do so. If you can’t do them, as this narrator cannot, then you really REALLY shouldn’t.

Poor Narration.
