Summary
Reeling from the events of the previous night, the team struggle to cope with the shock and pain. How can you win against something you can't bring yourself to fight? Do they use the nuclear option and risk it all?
In the north, Cassie grows bored and pushes Gregori and the Boy on a course of action that will change everything, and the infection evolves into a terrifying opponent, pulling both sides into an ever-darkening game of cat and mouse.
New characters hear the call to arms, and questions are answered. Who was the guy in the armoured van on Day One? Secrets are revealed, but the mystery only deepens.

fresh and gripping
wow! RR Haywood continues this story keeping it as fresh and gripping as day 1.
I actually found myself questioning the human race while listening to this and wondering if the voice of the infected has a point!
I need to listen to the previous books again knowing what I now know!

Things are starting to link up
Looks like we are calling mr Haywood the boss now. I’m going with that because his writing is amazing.
I love how the weaved strands of previous books are now slowly coming together and the back story is starting to fill.
sublime as always and this series gets better and better.
Can’t wait for the next instalment, out of all the books this is the one I enjoyed the most, especially the closing chapters.

Wow!
What a series, what a story, I now can’t wait to download 19! Howie, Dave and the crew discover more about the enemy they face, and we discover a lot more back story, with threads starting to come together. Utterly brilliant. I have to binge each book in about 2 days, listening til the early hours as it’s so addictive. Thank you RRHaywood! X

Another great listen!
This story is just brilliant if you’re in to the Zombie storyline you’re in for a great time. And being based in Britain which makes it easy to relate to. The banter between the characters and the introduction of new members keeps it going strong. With only 22days in the story surely has a lot more to come.

Back in the room
Personally I think the story is starting to dwindle but book 18 has just poured petrol on the and now its flaming like a oil refinery after a visit from dave!!
