Summary
A new landscape was formed after the storm, and with it the promise of a new beginning.
One race to dominate this land. One race to survive.
Words were uttered beneath the Saxon while Howie fought the undead.
Words that brought a whole new pressure.
To be relentless and unceasing. To charge forward and never give up. To do what it takes to survive.
That pressure was building, and it became too much. Howie faltered, losing his mind as they ran through the fog and sought the doctors so desperately needed at the fort.
The final act was a simple one. A stubborn man spoke through an intercom at the munitions factory, and his words sparked such a reaction in Howie that he fell apart in front of those who love him the most.
The Undead continues with day 16.

As always AMAZING
I'm on my second re-listen of these books, Haywood is a genius writer.
You laugh and cry, get angry at people, get disappointed in people, it's also great that it is pretty much correct by place,so in some cases you can go and walk the roads the battles were had in.
Just brilliant!

Amazing
Yet again I was gripped and held until the last words. The characters are showing themselves to be flawed, prideful,even arrogant ..and brutal. But oh so very human. ..which is after all the whole point of the narrative. Bring on the next books !!!

Utterly awesome
I've now listened to all of them up to date, and have found the story and the narrator to be outstanding in all aspects. This series is equally awesome as the arisen and the Mark tufo books in characters and emotional entrapment to the reader/listener. But wait out as this is not the last in this story yet. Can't wait till the next are released. Utterly awesome.

Heart wrenching
Another great story in the Unread series. Felt like I was with them in the room when the struggle of childbirth was taking place. Sadness and happiness in the same paragraph. Can't put these books down! Already on my fourth read of the series. I am pack!!

The further development of the characters and the twists in the story
The storylines development with its twists and turns makes you just want to read on and push through just to get past the latest calamity the team find themselves in. The introduction of new characters and the subtle hints to their backstory is fascinating and it leaves you guessing hoping wondering and eager to get on with the story
