Normally I'm keen to explore new titles, Australian crime fiction, especially small town stories, this ticked all the right boxes.
However the last book I had (same genre) although the story was ok the narration was awful.
The book prior to that was so slow going, half way through I gave up and took a refund.
So picking this book yesterday knowing I'd get circa 6 hours of listening time (long work journey) I wasn't sure how it was going to fare.
Its great the narrator is fantastic (well done, Maria Angelico) and the story is just what I was hoping for (thank you Vikki Petraitis).
I've 4 hours of listening to finish this book, can I leave the rest of it until I travel again Monday?
Book 2 is on pre-ordered.
