Life changing.

It's a great help to those of us with diabetes have determined that the very low carb lifestyle serves us best. Recipes don't require you to go out and tons ingredients that are hard to find and you've never heard of before. She keeps it as simple as she possibly can.

Great tips.

Excellent book. Contains a lot of crucial info I wish my doctors had told me decades ago when I was diagnosed with type one. This program-lifestyle-diet is the ONLY one that’s allowed me to get my blood sugars under real control.

Great helpful.

I am diabetic but my husband is not. Both of us need to lose weight. Meals portioned for two makes it easier to eat less and cuts down on second helpings and leftovers. The recipes are very tasty.

Simone's advice about how the protein in meat extracts calcium from the bones shocked me. This advice was helpful and worth the price of the book. I wished someone had shared this information when I was younger before my bones weaken

This book has a beautiful layout with tons of information and tips. It spells out every day of the detox and Beat Sugar Cravings, what you should expect to be feeling and lots of encouragement along the way. There is a meal plan that can be followed or not working through the detox.

Has some very very good practical, menus

The recipes are so delicious that I have yet to have a craving or feel deprived. Husband says this is the best "diet" I've ever forced upon him too. I actually feel like I can maintain this lifestyle moving forward.

What a FANTASTIC cookbook

This really walks you through the ups and downs (real downs than ups) of getting off of sugar as well as provide detailed plans if you aren't a meal planner yourself. I'm finding the level of detail in here quite impressive.

Best book for beginners.

Informative.

I’d recommend this book for someone who has been recently diagnosed with type 2 diabetes and needs basic education or someone who wants ideas for meal plans. I like the 3 different calorie levels and the emphasis on importance of exercise in helping to control blood sugar. I know some people want to eat fewer carbs than what this book suggests, but you can pick the recipes you like and cut carbs in other areas.

Informative and very inspiring.

The Diabetic Cookbook was given to my mom. After looking through the recipes and seeing how simple, easy and tasty they sounded it made her feel like diabetes wouldn't limit her love of food as much as she thought.

Good for a newbie.

This is a good cookbook. Ive already used recipies from it. Im new to slow cooker cooking and this makes the recipies simple to put together. Im pre diabetic so eating healthy is a must to keep my sugar on track.
