About this listen

Losing a loved one will force one man to admit his truth or risk losing his heart forever.

A very special man, Nelson Bradshaw, saves both Drake Cooper and Lincoln Porter from life on the streets. As a legal guardian, Nelson becomes a parental figure, teaching them the value of their young lives and how it truly feels to be loved for who they are, faults and all.

Working side by side in Nelson's advertising company, desire builds between Drake and Lincoln, finally exploding in one shared night that ends in disaster, leaving Drake lost and heartbroken.
Now, years have passed and tragedy can make you reevaluate what is important.

After their mentor is murdered, Drake and Lincoln discover their attraction is as strong as ever. However, before they can think of building a long awaited future together, they need to face the truth about their pasts.

This was a really well written book that dealt with so many topics and still came off wonderfully. The main characters were fighting their very nature and until tragedy brought them back together they struggled.

Loved this so much

It is a easy story to listen to. Following Guy Veryzer's narration really brought it to life. I enjoyed what is there of the story. I think it is maybe too short. Too much got crunched together and a few questions were left unanswered but I don't see where this is the part of a series. I think the author does a real good job at people and place descriptions. I think the storyline is good I just felt it was too much in too little time allotted

Good story, wish there were more

Audiobook - solid and consistent narration.
Story - good characters and very believable emotions. Considering the depths of the traumas for both MCs, their dive into a second chance relationship felt a bit abrupt, especially for Lincoln. On the whole, a strong story with very healing potential for both.
