I started this listen expecting a quirky crime romp, and ended up binging the whole thing in two listening sessions. Russell Finch is such a mess in the best way: funny, flawed, and impossible to ignore. The narration really sold the story for me, especially in the darker McBride scenes where the tension quietly builds before each twist lands. I also loved the odd blend of humor, mob drama, and creepy small-town energy. It’s bold, weird, and seriously entertaining. If you like audiobooks with personality and sharp turns, this one absolutely delivers.
