Summary

When the moon is full High above the Earth
Three daughters shall be born
On their 16th birthday, their destiny will begin
One daughter, born with the knowledge of the future, yet blind of those closest to her

Hope, your normal teenage girl, other than being one out of a set of triplets, dreams about the day she turns 16 and can get her license.

Unknowingly, as her 16th birthday draws closer, a curse that has been around for centuries will activate, causing her to have visions, giving her knowledge of the future. The things she sees, she hopes are just hallucinations.

New guy Bryce comes to town knowing of the curse. He’s part of a group that prepares their whole lives to train the triplet sisters, who are unlucky enough to have it befall them. Hoping the town he moves to doesn’t have the sisters they are looking for, once his eyes rest upon Hope, he knows without a doubt that his life will be changed. And with the spark at contact, he knows it will be changed forever.

With Bryce’s help, Hope must accept these changes and train, learning how to control her ability and preventing more visions from becoming a reality. As the fight hits closer to home, will Hope be prepared to defeat the evil, making the world safer for just a little bit longer?

Powerful

Loved this supernatural story. I think the future seers are so cool, and Hope is a really strong one. I didn't feel like there was much romance but I liked the thought that the three boys were to help the triplets. Not sure how they were supposed to train them since only the triplets had the power. But it was still a good audiobook. There were two twists that really blew my mind and I never saw coming. I am definitely interested to find out what else will happen. I enjoyed the narrator and hope to hear her on the next audiobooks of this series.

Intriguing idea, great narration.

Kathleen Li did a great job with the narration on this story. I knew who was who without them having to name themselves.

The idea behind this book intrigued me and I enjoyed the story. It was interesting watching the relationships as they built. I would be interested to see how the story progresses.

Interesting

The author did a good job in keeping things a mystery until perfect timing. Although I was a bit confused on why the ending was where it was the bonus to the prologue for the the second book will peak your interest enough to want book two. Kathleen did an excellent job with the narrative.

Looking forward to the next books

I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

Hope , Faith and Destiny will be 16 soon and then the curse that has affected triplets throughout the ages comes in to effect . Hope starts to have black outs and premonitions and has no idea what is happening she undergoes medical tests that all prove negative . It’s only when she meets Bryce that things are explained to her he explains about the prophecy and that Hope and her sisters will have to fight the evil that will come their way . This book is written in Hope and Bryces point of view I presume the following books will be Faiths and Destiny’s pov i am looking forward to those being available on audiobook.

Enjoyable Story

This is a great coming to age paranormal tale. I felt Mrs. Black did a wonderful job building the world Hope, her sisters and Bryce live in and the prophecy that surrounds them. Their story flows nicely and moves at a good pace.
I really liked Hope’s character. She’s tenacious, strong and caring. Suddenly thrust into a world she knows nothing about Hope handles her new situation with a maturity beyond her years. I’m interested in finding out where the sisters journey will lead them in the next book.

Hope's story

I really enjoyed this story. This is about a set of triplets who have no idea that they have powers or a curse on them. In this first book we meet Hope and get to see how she comes into her powers and the struggles she faces. It's a great story and I can't wait for the others to learn more about the other sisters and learn more about them. I really like seeing them just being normal teenagers and their everyday lives

Awesomeness!!!

This book was full of awesomeness!! These characters and this world were well thought out and developed. This is my first book by the Author and I am loving her work. This book pulled me in from the very beginning with all of its twist, turns and surprises. Marsha Black does an excellent job capturing the minds of teenagers and what it is like to have sisters. Even though they all have very different personalities and rarely agree on anything the sisters seem to have a good relationship. Hope is very mature for her age and handles hearing the story of the triplets curse very well. I enjoyed seeing her learning about her abilities and how Bryce is always there to help her through it all. I loved also getting Bryce's POV. I love Hope and Bryce together and hope to see more of them in Destiny and Faith's Story. I can't wait to dive into Destiny's Story and learn more about these characters!!
This is a great start to the series and the narrator did a great job!!

Good Series Starter

Hope's story is a good series starter. Introducing us to the characters and laying the groundwork. I would have liked more about the curse and the different types of powers as well as the training the boys and their dads received - but that may come in future books. The narrator's pacing was steady and voices easy to understand. I look forward to more from this author

Triplets Curse

This is a fantastic read. I love the world building and the Character building. This is the first book in the series. It captured me from the first page to the last. I was given this read. And definitely recommend this read. The Author is very creative and brings the Characters Alive on the pages. The Narrator does a fantastic job.
