Very enjoyable listen, lovely characters, I liked the sense of humour and delivery, good story, satisfying ending, lacking in LGBTIQ representation however, which would have been good.

I started this series straight after reading The Grave diggers Son and the Waif girl. The clever humour of that series is in this saga too. Sam makes you fall in love with his characters. they are all so different, but all so relatable. I love the descriptive nick names, the wit and humour. Absolutely brilliant
