Summary
Texas Titans quarterback Kade Kincaid, affectionately known by his fans as "Zeus", doesn’t want to go to some stupid bachelor auction, and he really doesn’t want some newbie PR rep babysitting him, but a crazed-supermodel stalker won’t leave him alone, and he needs someone to block for him.
Felicity Song has plans for her PR career, and babysitting a spoiled billionaire quarterback wasn’t one of them. When he demands she "fake" buy him at the auction or risk losing her job, she takes the assignment with one demand: She will not go on a date with him.
Too bad Zeus is as cocky as his namesake and won’t let her off the hook. When she plans a perfectly horrible date full of activities Kade hates, she’s blindsided when he agrees to actually jump out of a plane with her and even more surprised when he kisses her. Good thing she slaps him and discovers...this Greek god’s flesh is just as fragile as any other mortal man.
When a tragedy strikes Felicity and Kade steps up to help her, she has to make a choice: lose her one shot at love...or do the one thing she’s told herself she would never do again.

Aaron Shedlock is 🔥!
Kudos to Aaron Shedlock for another great narration! I enjoyed listening to this cute sport romance. Kade and Felicity had lots to overcome but deserved their HEA. 😊

Hart has a touchdown!
I love going into a book blind and being so pleasantly surprised that I can't wait for the next one. This is my first Taylor Hart listen, and will not be my last. Kade is a quarterback that needs to be babysat by PR woman Felicity. When the bachelor auction comes up, Kade uses a little leverage on Felicity to make sure she buys him, keeping him away from particular women. And from that point on, their story builds. Kade is a wonderful personality. He is stubborn, but has a strong sense of family and love, always coming through when he is needed. Felicity is a force to be reckoned with. Her situation is intricate, and times I was frustrated with her aloofness, while at the same time I could sympathize with her. The two together make a couple that shows how love overcomes the obstacles. Weaving in their families, Hart gives the story family dynamics that are easy to relate to and the story depth.
Narrated by Aaron Shedlock, the characters in this story come to life with a sense that you know them. Shedlock has a talent of infusing voices that hold incredible emotion so that you feel the pain, frustration, fear and love right along with each character. It is a listen you will not want to miss.

Great Story, Great Narration!
I loved this book! The story is not the typical sports romance that I was expecting. Taylor Hart wrote a heartwarming story that has so many emotions involved. I found it refreshing to listen to a book that the characters had chemistry but not sex. The narration by Aaron Shedlock was perfect. He added to the enjoyment of the book. I loved how he portrayed the characters. Friends to lovers stories are a favorite of mine. I will definitely listen to more books by this author and narrator. This book involves so many layers to it. I loved how the story had humor and heart-wrenching moments. The imagery is incredible. I could relate to many aspects of the story, and the feelings involved.
