Story
Look, I didn't want to be a half-blood. I never asked to be the son of a Greek God. I was just a normal kid, going to school, playing basketball, skateboarding. The usual. Until I accidentally vaporized my maths teacher. That's when things started really going wrong. Now I spend my time fighting with swords, battling monsters with my friends, and generally trying to stay alive. This is the one where Zeus, God of the Sky, thinks I've stolen his lightning bolt - and making Zeus angry is a very bad idea.

Story
The kingdom of Cornucopia was once the happiest in the world. It had plenty of gold, a king with the finest moustache you could possibly imagine, and butchers, bakers, and cheesemongers whose exquisite foods made a person dance with delight when they ate them. Everything was perfect - except for the misty Marshlands to the north, which, according to legend, were home to the monstrous Ickabog. Anyone sensible knew that the Ickabog was just a myth to scare children into behaving. But the funny thing about myths is that sometimes they take on a life of their own.

Summary
The third fantasy adventure in the Percy Jackson series is now available to download, complete and unabridged, on audio.
It's the last Friday before the winter holidays but Percy Jackson isn't at school: he's battling the fearsome Manticore (half human, half lion), which in itself isn't ideal . . . but with Annabeth missing and the goddess of the hunt held captive, things get a whole lot more serious . . .
Greek mythology relocated to modern-day America. Action-packed, funny, accessible writing for both boys and girls aged 10+. Perfect for fans of Harry Potter and Artemis Fowl. What listeners say about The Titan's Curse: Percy Jackson, Book 3

Thank the movies
I am so glad the movies came out because if it wasn’t for them I would have never have found these books were the movies or books are better for someone that is dyslexic the movies is what introduced me to the books are now with audiobook I can enjoy them a lot better as reading the books that I do have can sometimes prove challenging. I still enjoy everything about these books and hope to get them all. As a movie buff I loved The movies and hope there is more to come. I’m not too keen on the Reader but have come to accept it for the love of the books but the way he makes Tyson sound makes him sound like an idiot in the movie he had fear but inner strength.

Brilliant
Would you listen to The Titan's Curse: Percy Jackson, Book 3 again? Why?
Yes, read the books first, then downloaded them to listen to while traveling. Even had my husband listening to them.
What did you like best about this story?
Perfect mixture of Greek history, wit, feelings of growing up...very clever and adventurous
What about Jesse Bernstein’s performance did you like?
expressive
If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?
They did make a film, and changed way too much of the plot. Still trying to work out why. Should have used the producers of 'Harry Potter'. The story is brilliant as is!
Any additional comments?

Titans curse nicely expands the Percy Jackson world with more locations and characters. However i personally was annonyed by some of the gods personalities and that brought the story down a bit for me.l That being said the narration is still spectacular and Jesse Bernstein continues to shine.
