Summary

Book five in Anthony J Melchiorri's The Tide series.

The Democratic Republic of the Congo already faced the extreme ravages of war before the outbreak. Deep within the militia-controlled jungles, Captain Dominic Holland and his covert group, the Hunters, follow a lead in a desperate race to uncover who is responsible for the biological weapon turning humans into the monsters known as Skulls. But what they uncover may be far more dangerous and frightening than they ever expected.

Back in the United States, a lost member of Dom's team makes a final stand to survive and reunite with the Hunters. He faces a relentless tide of Skulls alone. Haunted by his past, he soon realizes far more is at stake than just his survival. The fate of the Hunters and their mission may rest in his hands.

another awesome installment of The Tide series

What did you love best about The Tide: Iron Wind?

The women characters are just as Kick @ss as the male characters. And who can go wrong with Zombie Monsters.

Who was your favorite character and why?

As always, Dom is my favorite, although Frank was a close second in #5.

Have you listened to any of Ryan Kennard Burke’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

this is a fantastic listen.

If you could rename The Tide: Iron Wind, what would you call it?

I like the title.

Any additional comments?

This is a great series, full of action, adventure and almost superhuman men and women fighting zombie monsters.

Old woman

The actual story dealing with the characters was very good. I prefer more of that and less if the unrelenting battles with monsters. But this is what the author writes and when I can't take anymore monster killing I skip on.

Brave Sea Hunters Continue the fight for mankind

This EXCELLENT series just keeps getting better...

Spoiler alert in case your are about to read out of order or have just started the series...

Dom and the Hunters have discovered the creation of the various monsters was just that: CREATION. Mankind, or some vile members of human society, has created these things. What drives these people, no one knows, but one thing is for sure; bigger is better.

Follow Dom and his crew to Africa where they discover just how WRONG everything is.

Good Book. Narration could be better.

book is good, entertaining. Gets slightly old that for about every scenario everything goes wrong that can but then it turns out ok. doesn't keep me guessing... but it keeps entertainment value up.
