A chilling story of hidden evil, The Third Twin is a heart-stopping, spine-tingling thriller from master storyteller and author of Never, Ken Follett.

An Impossible Result
Jeannie Ferrami, a scientific researcher investigating the behaviour of identical twins who have been raised separately, uncovers a perplexing mystery: identical twins who were born on different days, to different mothers, in different places.

A Blossoming Love
One of the twins, Steve, is a law student. The other, Dennis, is a convicted murderer. Jeannie works with Steve on her research project and finds herself falling in love with him – but their world is shattered when he is accused of a monstrous crime.

A Terrible Secret
Jeannie cannot believe that Steve is guilty, but to prove it she will be forced to question everything she believes. And, as she digs deeper, she uncovers a terrifying conspiracy – one which the plotters will kill to keep hidden.

I couldn’t wait for my next journey in the car to listen to this book, and when I got home I found myself sitting in the car, to finish the chapter.

It’s well written and very suspenseful.

Great story, well told

A masterful piece of work by Ken Follett. Totally different to his themed work Pillars of the Earth which shows just how versatile he is. He maintains the suspense through to the end. Although you can guess how it might go there is always a chance you could be wrong,

One of his best

Ken Follett is like a first love I can’t give up. I try other authors but I always come back to KB. The Third Twin is brilliant - aided by superb narration. Follett’s strength is the way he builds up the characters

Follett at his best

What a concept and what a twist. A bit graphic and again, more sex than necessary but that’s Follett for you. He seems to have an issue somewhere there.

Fascinating book
