I tried this whole series on a whim and was hooked pretty instantly. I am totally invested in all the characters who are beautifully written, the romance and spice is enough but is overshadowed (in a good way!) by just the most sweeping, clever, intricately woven story. I feel like I’ve said goodbye to family and will definitely relisten. The narration is also on point for all six characters throughout the series. If I could give ten stars I would!

This audiobook, along with the others in the series, will forever be top tier for me. I love everything about them. They are completely immersive and so compelling to listen to. The narrators are fantastic - I love the way they distinguish between the different characters and how they bring them to life. The sound effects and chapter beginnings are great - just the right amount - not overdone.
This was the perfect end to this series and it's bittersweet to have finished it. The action and the tension throughout this book had me completely on edge and hooked. Apologies to anyone who heard my exclamations while I was out walking and listening! 😂 I was totally engrossed and part of the story. I will definitely be registering to these again and again!

Amazing end to a brilliant series. Loved the multiple POVs of all the main character from the previous books. Gutted it's all over. Top tier series for me, I will revisit this world again and again.

4.5⭐️ I really enjoyed the audiobook. It’s a long one though nearly 26 hours.

James is hunting Ahnna at the start and it’s tense and their yearning is chef’s kiss. The Tempest Blade is full of action, tension with politics, betrayal, violence/murders, plot twists and turns and also included multiple POVs chapters from characters we’ve loved from the previous books: Keris, Lara, Aren, Zarrah and even appearances from Nana, Jor, Bronwyn, Taryn, Daria and Sam.
It ends with the Harendell war in Ithicana fighting for the twisted throne.

I’m so glad there was an epilogue at the end and it was beautifully written. I could not stop smiling and it was such an emotional end to the series and characters after all the kingdom wars and politics. What a ride and conclusion to the Ithicana world and to the Bridge Kingdom series. Highly recommend this series.

I really wish it could’ve been a dramatised graphic audiobook with a full cast and movie cinematic sound effects for a better immersive experience. A dramatised audiobook of this series would be absolutely amazing!! Even better if there’s a movie or Netflix series in the future.
