Great story. nice twist.

Narrator was a tad annoying. accents were heavy going and character portrayal could of been better. but the story was brilliant so overlooked the narrative

Wonderful!

I just loved this book. The characters were vibrant and well written. It kept my interest throughout and the twist at the end was unexpected. It made me laugh and cry at different times and I would really recommend it. A story of true love and friendship. Imagen church does a great job of narrating this book. Will definitely be looking out for more books narrated by her.

So romantic in parts, but also controversial and gripping too!
Well written and would recommend!

The Perfect Story

This beautiful book has to be one of my top three books since joining Audible 3 years ago. It’s the most bizarre exploration of the maternal bond and hits so deeply into what is primal in us all. I’m in awe.
It is the sort of story in which things actually happen. I like those. Such imagination and such well-rounded ideas. I felt as though I was in safe hands throughout.
The narration seemed like an undertaking of passion to me and the characters were so vividly portrayed.. I will actually miss them.
What an incredible achievement all round.

‘It’s a silly book!

Really? This novel was disappointingly foolish. It had an implausible premise. I mean ... How?...Why? The storyline was full of holes, the characters were without depth and the ending just a cop out. It made very light of a serious and distressing subject matter that left me feeling as though I had just read a young adult book that didn’t really get it. Sorry.

I like fantasy BUT this was weird

I liked the reader but ridiculous story. Laboured, unnecessary detail, overdramatic. Effort to finish it.

Ok book but Big Reveal predictable

Real shame it was so easily to see the 'Big Reveal' before it happened - made a lot of the build up pointless. (This is why it loses a point) Apart from this is was an enjoyable book. I'll happily try another book by this author or narrator.

intriguing.

A very different story from anything I've read before, the characters are charming, the storyline interesting and the narration good except for the dodgy ascents..

Wow! Incredible!

There isn't 1 thing I didn't like about this book. here's what I loved:

1) The writing was beautiful and thoughtfully put together.
2) The voice actor (Imogen Church) was phenomenal! She really brought the voice of Luna (and all the other characters) to life.
3) The world building was impeccable. So many specific references to the time periods involved, especially the social differences and etiquette made for a believable, atmospheric experience. And all the characters were memorable and realistic too.
4)The plotting was well-paced, gaining even more momentum towards the end. It kept me on my toes, never knowing what the outcome would be from Luna's interference with the past.
5) Michael *swoon* Oh, Michael. I started falling in love with him from the second we met him. And even though it was a woman who did his voice, my heart fluttered every time he spoke.

Thank you for this story.
