This has been superbly narrated, I have got through my holiday listening to this next chapter and was sad when it ended. I can wait for what is next.

The second story from the series but again from Valek's point of view. Was really good to see how Janco and Ari's story started, as well as how their relationship with Valek develops. It's really enriching the story seeing what he gets up to when Yelena isn't around. If you loved the original Magic study then this is a must read along side it. Maria has this gift of creating such magnificent worlds that you can lose yourself in. Fun for any teen or young adult who want to enjoy more fantasy books
