About this listen

An action-packed LitRPG Adventure perfect for fans of Mother of Learning, Primal Hunter, and The Perfect Run!

Fight. Grind. Grow strong enough to stop the Cataclysm.

Orodan was an orphaned street rat who clawed his way to the county militia with hard work. When calamitous events unfold and draw him into events bigger than himself, Orodan's battle-loving disposition leads to a warrior's death.

Then he wakes up again at the start of the Cataclysm. Then again. And again.

In a world of skills, titles, and blessings, a smart time-looper would perhaps scheme, plan, amass equipment, and allies. But not Orodan. If there's one thing he's good at, it's stubbornly trying the same thing over and over again via brute force till it's done.

If a wall is in front of him, going around is not an option. Instead, he'll batter it thousands of times until either the wall breaks or he does. And gain skill levels along the way.

Until, maybe one run, he'll grow powerful enough to stop the Cataclysm.

Experience this fast-paced LitRPG Adventure about Orodan and his progression toward becoming extremely overpowered using a time loop. The series features a detailed system, loads of skills, varied progression paths, deep worldbuilding, cultivation aspects, and a heroic character you can't help but root for!

Ok, so when I say this is a good book I am not recommending the next "War and peace" but a well written and addictive story - that is exactly what it says on the cover.

It has humor, a great narrator, a slightly unhinged hero and is a full day of entertainment. Fighting - that do happen a lot - is handled in a way that did not make me push fast forward but was actually enjoyable.

World building is fully sufficient and also tastefully mingled into the story in a non intrusive way. All the characters are so well written I feel it will be hard to pick up all the threads in book 2, but overall the story will progress without some of them without it being a dealbreaker.

The one flaw I can find with it, is that the sequel is not yet released.

10/10 - this is a good book!

Good feeling of progression and time loop didn’t feel repetitive. Good book I will be buying the next one.

Simple premise but very well done

It's a great book to listen to. Great characters, definitely worth a listen. I had a great time listening to this while walking the dog, driving the van and every other opportunity to listen to it I could find.

Great listen

Ok this book put me off for a long time due to the name looking like a bad japanese translation of an anime.
Don't let it put you off! Like other long-winded japanese anime english translation titles, it holds within it Greatness.

Well written and brilliantly narrated it was a book that kept me hooked to the end and straight on to audible after to check out the next book. (Spoiler - It's not there)

Will certainly be an author I will insta buy from in the future.

Sometimes stupid titles mean very little

so this is one of my favourite stories. I've re read what's available on rr several times. So it took me awhile to listen to the audiobook form as it hadn't been that long since my last re read.
Now that I've listened to it though I'm so impressed with Daniel Wisniewskis performance. He really brings all the characters to life in such a skillful way. I started another one he narrated a while back (mage tank) and he does just as good a job there. I'm going to have to keep an eye out for his other work.
It went from being an already loved story to just better I can't describe it well.
thank you for your performance.
