Summary

Even after four generations, the spirit of Montgomery Worthington lives on in a distant grandson named Chance Reading. In the wake of a furious storm, Chance and his friend Hero Swift find themselves among a ragged band of refugees determined to make sense of the ruin of their beloved town. Bound to a common cause but separated by fate, two mice strive for reunion in the face of disaster, madness, and betrayal.
