The plot thickens

Now, I am so happy some of the loose ends from the previous book were answered and I am now intrigued to see where the story goes. In a way I would have liked the whole series condensed into one novel, but they are quick reads and listens especially as I am interested in the subject matter.

This should be one book, maybe two parts at most

Very disappointing, wanted to know outcome and thus heard 4 parts of this ONE book, alone none could stand as a single narrative... you’d never know the outcome. Rather disappointing that Audible don’t make it clear from outset that this is one narrative but told in 4 parts. Understand the narrator’s accent had to be what it is to add verisimilitude, but this was to me below Audible’s usual high standard. Please make it clear to subsequent listeners that each book cannot stand without its partners. There’s much better to be had and would certainly NOT recommend! Story line banal, not even very exciting... and not very ‘dark‘ either... leave well alone if not started this series yet. Even the love storyline is pretty pathetic and so sadly predictable. My own fault for wanting to know outcome of ghost story... but truly, this one is best ‘sooner forgotten’!!
