I loved these books as a kid. Never got this far with the books and I'm glad I didn't. My partner warned me that the series took a dive after the previous book and she wasn't wrong. It feels so different from the other books I struggle to recognise it as the same series. To preserve my memory of them I will be stopping with the series now.
The oration was good but he could only work with what he'd been given.
