This was nice light listen, though the story is a little predictable I love all the characters, I really enjoyed it and was eager to get to the end. The narration is good and made the story more enjoyable. Highly recommend I’m already looking forward to the follow up.

Only a few small points there’s a couple of points in the book where the audio repeats, and needs to be reviewed and honestly I think it’s super lazy to not match the chapter title in the book with the what it actually is eg. chapter 3 in this version is actually chapter 1 of the book and so forth.

but it's a good romance. Refreshing to read all the WHYs and ALTHOUGHs of two people falling in love, instead "two hot people see other and bam! just like that they are im love" trope.

At the start of it I really hated this because the whole it's because the whole scene of arron not defending her.
he just turned and said we're done here but bitch if you cared speak up the first time.
Also the is felt really repetitive sometimes the way she strictly kept repeating How she didn't want to allow things in the past to happen again. It felt like the same point would just be discussed over and over again And it was a little irritating. Overall Lena just didn't feel like mature enough for Me she was meant to be 28 but felt like she was still in high school. And a lot of Aaron's lines just made me crunch sometimes like I don't know how to explain it but it felt like as if he knew he was a book character and didn't sound like an actual person the book character in the installing an actual person. Plus the way he kept repeating how big he was just really good my nose and it felt like he was meant to be a character you won't mean to see him as a regular person the way you are meant to see Lina.

This book 😍 I had been saving it on my TBR shelf for a while because I had a feeling it was going to be worth it, and oh boy was it ever!

Aaron Blackford, the perfect grump. He has made his way onto the list of top Book Boyfriends for sure 😍 His attention to detail where it comes to Lina, his heart, gosh I just wanted to give him a hug so many times! He freaking learned Spanish so he’d make a good impression 🥹 Such a cinnamon roll 😍

Lina is such a cheerful, strong, brave character, and Aaron just compliments her so well. The humour, the banter, the swoon…. I LOVED IT ALL 😍
