Most definitely changed my life!

This is a great book for those starting out on this diet. I'm not going to lie the first two weeks were hard but after that it was much easier. A great guide and very helpful.

Most Useful.

The author had some great insight into The South Beach Diet. I had never really paid attention to it myself but I thought I would give this book a shot being a beginner and it taught me a lot. I tend to not be the best dieter but the things I learned here, i hope, will help keep me on the path. I would even recommend it to those who think they have the South Beach diet all figured out.

Great Listen.

The great cookbook and i am on the south beach diet and have enjoyed the recipes.I have tried so far,the recipes in this book quick and easy.It is great to have delicious healthy recipes available.

great to deal with

It needs the determination to lose weight and I've ever thought the formula to be almost simple: eat fewer calories and burn more through practice. However, it is very tough to do so. So I changed to the South Beach diet. I've found this to be a very useful diet.

Healthy food bible

All in all, I find this audiobook a Godsend. After the first two weeks, my eating habits have increased but not drastically, but my weight loss has had a marked improvement.

Completely Meets my Expectations!

This audiobook is wonderful. However, just like any other Diet, you must understand the diet to get the real effect of the audiobook. I have stopped eating Bread and I can already feel the difference.

Love this diet

Try it; it has worked for everybody that I remember who has tried it. In short, if you are weak then don't bother - rather go to the gym and dream. If you are surely involved in diet, then providing you have any will-power the plan should work. Not for the weak-hearted, but should work for the strong-willed

Healthy recipes.

I started this diet expecting to be miserable the whole time, but I'm not. I feel pretty good, I've lost 12 pounds and I would totally recommend this diet.

Great book.


It is a basic review of the original plan with more recipes. The input on how to get started was a big plus. South Beach Diet is a healthier approach to getting back on track.

Nice book.

This is a great book. I would like to see more diverse meal plans instead of the same things over and over again. Exercise is everything. Without it, you aren't going to be that successful with your weight loss. Sure you'll lose weight, but you're body will still be out of shape and eventually you stop losing weight.

Love so much.

The new book combines the power of the original South Beach Diet and its carb-restrictive recipes with the added component of exercise which helps pump up the metabolic rate. As a cooking site owner I am always looking for new, healthier alternatives to those 'less than totally healthy' recipes that we love so much.

Impressed.

This group of books gives delicious recipes for meals and snacks, and breaks it into 3 weight losing / weight maintenance sections so there is absolutely no guess work. Plenty to eat and the food is yummy.

Favorite book.

This is my favorite diet. I'm not a "diet" person, in that I really believe in simple, healthy eating. The South Beach diet covers basic principles: stay away from a lot of sugar, and eat healthy. In my experience the South Beach is not really a diet but a lifestyle. It was developed for heart patients but also has the wonderful side effect of weight loss.
