Summary
All new from bestselling psychological thriller writer Keri Beevis
When you’re a kid, you imagine monsters to have horns and fangs. That they hide under the bed or in the wardrobe. And you believe they can only come after you when it’s dark.
You don’t expect them to look like everyday people or that they may be someone you already know…
The summer in question started out with hot, fun-filled days and new friendships.
We had just turned thirteen and had our whole lives ahead of us.
But that was before her....
Before we became known as the Hixton Five and our lives become defined by one night.
It’s hard to believe twenty years have passed since she was locked away.
But now she’s free and strange things have started to happen.
When I close my eyes, the creeping anxiety and fear is overwhelming and all too real.
Because the monster is back, and I know she has a score to settle with us.

Excellent
Really good audio book. Really enjoyed it. The narrators voice can be a bit annoying but it didn’t put me off at all. I loved the story

Excellent!
Great story line but have to agree the narrator was not the easiest to listen to for 10 hrs.

Pretty good story
Quite a nice thriller but a little bit too twee in places, some of the characters were just a bit too shallow for my liking. And I’m sorry but the narrator was not for me, her voice was too sing songy and too up and down for my liking so much so that I almost gave up on this tale.

Good story, struggled with narration
I found the narration pretty annoying. she sounded like she was reading for the news. I got to the end but wish it had been read differently

My new favourite from Keri Beevis
The Sleepover by Keri Beevis is my new favourite book from Keri, I love Keri’s writing style and as usual this book had me guessing until the end, it also played on some of my deepest fears and left me reeling in places but what a brilliant story!
The narration is excellent with the narrator building the tension so well and the different characters are very skilfully portrayed.
This book is a triumph! Loved it!❤️

The Sleepover
I really enjoyed the story, but the narrator’s voice was quite irritating, wasted it for me, 👎
