Decent story, Needs a good edit

The narration is superb and there is a good little story here within the 16+ hours. The book needed a strong edit, however, as far far too much time is spent describing the feelings of those involved in solving the crime..hours in fact...and far too little time on developing the plot and exploring the 'who done it'. I had to fast forward a great deal, something I never do with audiobooks.

Disappointing

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

It is far too long and the style of writing is pedantic.

Would you ever listen to anything by Anne Perry again?

Yes, I like Anne Perry but this is, by far, the least enjoyable of her books ... in my opinion.

What three words best describe Davina Porter’s voice?

Appropriate, agreeable and expressive.

Do you think The Sins of the Wolf needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?

No.
